PITTSBURGH, PA (June 9, 2021) – Point Park University’s Pittsburgh Playhouse recently announced the launch of its inaugural summer music festival, Inside/Outside. The festival features the very best in live jazz, classical and Baroque era music on Forbes Avenue this summer. Performances will take place on the Playhouse Plaza every Thursday and Friday beginning June 24 through July 30 from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Inside/Outside is presented in partnership with MCG Jazz, Chamber Orchestra of Pittsburgh, Chatham Baroque, and Pioneer Records. Pittsburgh’s own 17-piece jazz orchestra is comprised of many of the finest musicians in the region and a perfect way to close the series with the power of a big band.
